Selling in May Could Make You an Extra $85,665!

I am continually searching to find opportunities for my clients, regardless of the market. A few months ago there was an ATTOM Data Solutions analysis of 39 million home sales across the country, which found the month of October to be the best month to buy a home. This month I am reaching out to share this same study shows that the best time to sell is May!

 

This study showed that selling in May will add 10.5% to your bottom line and if timed perfectly, it could even be up to 15%! Based upon the average sales price of $571,100 in Portland, selling in May, could yield an extra $59,965 to $85,665!

 

Forbes recently published an article and a study that shows sellers can potentially add an extra 10.5% to their net proceeds by closing in the month of May! In addition to the national study, seasonality and Portland’s low inventory lend added support of May being the best month to sell a home.
